Non-Designer Filled Chocolates

Don’t pass by the delights of such things as vanilla buttercreams just because you haven’t been to a candy-making supply store. You won’t end up with professional-looking high-gloss, nicely-shaped candies, but the flavor will be all there.

Use any of the buttercream filling variations below (except liquid cherries). Form it into small balls, then dip these into melted regular chocolate (unsweetened is spectacular; semi-sweet is also excellent), turning to coat all sides. Put on waxed paper to set.
