Chapter 5

The two bands sat down to eat at 8:00 am. Zane learned about the video and everyone started watching the video on their phones.

“God, I am going to send the video to our website, and I will send the first video to you and you can add it to your sites. There are over six million hits on Midnight Zone web page. Everyone is loving the girls’ music. They should do another video.”

“They are going to need an agent. What about it, ladies. You are stars and didn’t even have to work for it.”

“Mark, I am sure they will have to work hard. I have called Keilee. Mark, you are a rock band manager, the girls need a popstar agent. She will get them the best deals.”

“I thought you hated Keilee.”

“I don’t hate her. We will never be together again. She has come out and is very happy with her new girlfriend. I knew she was bi and we had a lot of fun, but she fell in love with Nina. I introduced her to Nina. It was a fun time for all three of us. I just decided I wanted something different. The twins are already stars. Every agent will want them. We will let Keilee negotiate and her fee will be paid by the corporation that gives them a record deal. Twins, you both need to go to the bedroom on the bus and talk about all of this. It is hard enough that you found each other and becoming a star overnight is going to be very hard. It could cause you to fight. Band members fight all the time. You two are new to being sisters, so you are walking softly. If you become stars, you will always be together.”

“We will always be together now that we have found each other. Singing or no singing. I am scared, but not of doing something that will make my twin leave me. I will never do anything to hurt her and I am sure she feels the same way. I am in if you are. It might be fun. I don’t need the money, but I have no life. Who knows, next month we might burn out and the people will hate us. What do you think, Claire?”

“I get sick just thinking about going on stage. God, you said I could work on it. Does it get better?”

“Tell her Andy.”

“Fuck you, Godric. Claire, I get sick before every show. That’s why I don’t eat anything after lunch, and I drink only water. I get the shakes. I tried pills but the music was dull. We found out that I was waiting to long to eat and my blood sugar would drop. I play fine after the first song. I take bite of a protein bar between songs. It can be dealt with.”

“I never knew. Kee, what do you think? I love our life and will be happy just being your wife and the mother of our kids.”

“Baby, this is all a miracle.
