And now they had a second chance. Maybe not for a long-term relationship, but to replace their unhappy ending with good memories, to steal a few moments of joy in the chaos and pain of the last day.

Slipping beneath him, she arched up as he bent his head to give her a hungry kiss. She let her hands roam across his strong back and shoulders, down his sides, along the ridges of his abs, over his hard glutes, greedy to touch as much of him as possible.

Abruptly, he rose onto his knees and moved to the foot of the bed. Before she could protest, he began slowly kissing his way up her inner thigh, his hands skimming eagerly over her body, eliciting joy with every touch. He lingered near her right hip, using his tongue to trace a crescent-shaped group of freckles he’d been fascinated with in college. By the time he began feasting between her thighs, she was squirming with desire.

Lusty gasps escaped her as his lips and tongue performed magic. She gripped the sheet above her head with one hand and his muscled forearm with the other, awash in sensation but craving even more from him. “Jason, fuck me.”

He chuckled against her body and slipped two fingers inside her, continuing to lick and suck her clit until she wanted to scream.
