I got a generic smoothie recipe from the label on a protein powder container. It was okay, but I wanted a little more interest, so to speak. I tinkered with the recipe until I came up with this one. My husband and I like to use this smoothie is place of dessert some nights. It’s just enough to tame our sweet tooth, not to mention being good for us!

Key Lime Strawberry Protein Smoothie

6 large frozen strawberries

2 tbsp key lime juice

½ cup cold water

¼ cup crushed pineapple

1 small banana

2 scoops vanilla protein powder
