Refusing the Risk

While the virus was still a problem nationwide, the organization’s state and metro area had done an excellent job mitigating the pandemic. CEO Shanelle Lapides and the board decided that the organization should enact a hybrid work plan. Employees would be asked to come into the office two days a week out of the six the organization was open. Angel Rodriguez and Jamie Little created a rotating schedule so the burden of coming back to the office was shared equally among the leadership team and support staff. Having been made aware of the unfair burden previously felt by the employees without children, Angel and Jamie made sure that everything was done to provide relief for everyone.
