Success celebrations. An important method of solidifying cultures is through periodic success meetings, where the organization's leaders, through personal testimony and charisma, relate various scenarios that recognize heroes and winners. These meetings should have members from every stratum of the organization, from the top to the bottom. A mixture of people from different levels of the organization is required because without buy-in from all levels, change is doomed to failure. This kind of cultural celebration helps show the cultural priorities that the organization values most. A leader should always make sure at the completion of a major milestone to recognize the great work with a celebration. It does not take much, for example, buy everyone pizza for lunch and talk about the project to ensure that everyone gets recognized for the accomplishment.

Leadership. A transformational leader constructs the important details of the story to communicate it while retaining the right organizational values. People are social—they are not machines. So, if a leader can look to social systems to help manage change, then the leader can be more effective with larger changes that would normally be beyond reach. There is no doubt that culture can affect leadership, as good leadership will mold itself around the leader's style in a way that keeps individuals focused. Any leadership style can be successful as long as it incorporates the different elements of the culture; however, transformational leadership is one of the most successful leadership styles associated with change (Curlee & Gordon, 2010). A successful culture and a successful leader occur when the two blend to achieve a level of transparency. The leader embodies the culture to magnify the effectiveness of the team. For example, the leader should have a short narrative of the successes of the project to bring up to all the stakeholders. The leader needs to identify the starting point and the progress that has been made to ensure that people can see the transformation.
