Po Lin, literally translated as precious lotus, is the name of the monastery hidden in the once-remote Ngong Ping highland. Founded in the beginning of the 20th century, it is built with traditional Chinese architecture. Through the smoke of burning incense, Buddhist iconography is manifested in every facet inside the monastery. With bird song as background music, enjoy your stroll through the temples.
