Chapter Thirteen: Presley

The last eight months had truly been taxing. Discovering Tyrone’s affair with Kadeema and then suddenly becoming pregnant had been way too much. Surprisingly, I made it through my first trimester and was now five months pregnant with my little soldier. Yep! We found out we were having another boy. Well, I found out we were having another boy since Ty’s late night romp sessions prohibited him from attending the appointment with me. It didn’t matter to me though. Since I already had two boys, I was elated we would be welcoming another little knucklehead into our family.

Christmas had come and gone and I was glad it was over. Now all I had to do was get through New Year’s Eve and we could all move on. Usually, I loved Christmas season and everything that came along with it, but this season was different. Due to my circumstances, I just wasn’t in a jolly mood. Tyrone had managed to do what no one else could….he made me hate Christmas!

Ty had been detached for quite some time, but I thought he would at least be a bit more inconspicuous for the sake of the boys. He wasn’t mean to us, he just made it painfully obvious that his mind was somewhere else and I knew where it was already.

Going through this pregnancy alone was very depressing. Oddly enough, I managed to keep it together for Darren and Tyler. It was ironic that I was pregnant and married, but my husband almost refused to be a part of this blessing because of his funky ass sidepiece.
