I felt bad for letting my anger get the best of me. Not that I wasn't upset at waking up to find Nina gone and having no clue where she was. I felt justified in being annoyed and worried about that. But I should have handled it better. I hated the distance that it put between us again.

When she came out of the bedroom in that unassuming yet sexy as hell summer dress, I found myself annoyed and aroused all at the same time. I began to wonder if Nina understood just how beautiful she was, as she clearly didn't realize how sexy she looked. The dress showed off her sexy shoulders. The front dipped just low enough to be tantalizing, showing off just a hint skin of the swells of her tits. I wanted to bury my face there. I wasn't kidding about the gunny sack, but then again, I suspected even in that, she'd make me hot.

It was funny how even though I hadn’t known Nina very long, I was able to notice the subtle shift from her irritation at me to nervousness as we rode in the car toward the restaurant. I took her hand, wanting to reassure her, and to satisfy my own need to touch her. To know that I could touch her.

We arrived at the restaurant and were greeted by Demetri who gave us both big hugs. He was a large jovial man with a twinkle in his eye that I could tell, amused Nina. He introduced us to his son, Yannis, who resembled his father in looks, but had more of a playboy vibe to him. His gaze immediately raked over Nina and I shoved my hands in my pockets to keep from punching him in the face.

"First, we have dinner, and then we'll talk business," Demetri said, putting his arm around me and leading me through the restaurant towards the back area near the terrace that looked out over the water. "We will have an authentic Greek meal. Have you ever had octopus?"

I shook my head. I’d had a few exotic food items in my life, but never octopus.

"Did he say octopus?" Nina said, her eyes looking at me as if to say please tell me I heard that wrong.

Demetri laughed. "You'll love it."

Yannis pulled a chair out from the table motioning for Nina to sit. "Octopus is an aphrodisiac," he said as he helped Nina into her seat.

Seriously, I was going to drag this guy to the terrace and toss him over the edge into the sea.

"I thought that was oysters," Nina said.

Yannis took a seat next to her giving her a smile. I'm sure worked with all the ladies he ran into. It better not work with mine.

"Well, they all come from the ocean. So, it's all the same,” he said and winked at her. Fucker.

Nina seemed to think about that. "So, it's the ocean that's an aphrodisiac."

Yannis laughed. “Perhaps that's it. Of course, this is one too," he said taking the bottle that had already been on the table and pouring her a glass.
