CHAPTER FOUR

ARES’ UNDERWEAR

Back in Athens, Hercules stands in front of the crowd. Flies buzz around our smelly hero. People gag and wrinkle their noses in disgust. But he does not let that bother him.

“I have battled the Slimy Slug and been pooped out of a giant snake,” Hercules says. “No challenge is too great for me!”

“Then steal Ares’ underwear!” someone from the crowd shouts.

“Seriously?” Hercules asks. “The god of war never changes his tighty-whities.”

“Seriously!” the crowd yells back.

“Okay, then,” our hero shouts. “For I, Hercules, am the mightiest underwear stealer ever.”
