“Holy fucking shit,” Brick said to Avery and Saber. Beck was holding Afina in his arms in her bed. She looked like a damn goddess, like something in some magazine. She lay on her side, full breasts, narrow waist, perfectly round ass, and slender, toned thighs. She was sexy as sin, and he felt his dick get hard all over again.

Brick was in shock.

“I want her again and again, and it’s insane,” he admitted.

“I do, too. Her ass, Jesus, she was so giving, so tight and inexperienced. I feel like I robbed the fucking cradle and committed a felony,” Saber said as he paced, then sat down on her couch.

“I think we’re all on board with that,” Avery said, and reached for his cell phone. They all stood there in their pants only.

“What are we going to do? I don’t want her left alone if Gains is showing this much interest in her. He fucking called her twice and texted. You can see it on her cell phone,” Brick said fiercely.

“Shhh, you don’t want her to hear us. Let her rest and I’ll look into this. We’ll talk to her later on about Gains, and keeping her contact minimal,” Avery said.

“Minimal? How about no contact at all whatsoever?” Brick asked.

“Brick, calm down. Jesus, they work in the same building, and I’m trying to get a grasp of what happened at this bar today. I got an agent with no recollection as to what the hell happened, and he doesn’t even remember mentioning clothing in a garbage bin to Roman. It isn’t good. It seems like whoever gave him the drugs through the needle wanted to make sure he had no memory. I got shit now, so please, we’ll deal with Afina and Gains as things happen. Plus Beck found out that information on a drug deal and a dirty cop. It could be Gains, and if it is, then we can organize a raid with Beck and his team in anti-crimes and perhaps catch Gains once and for all.” Avery walked away to listen to voice messages on his phone.

“Hey, I feel like you do. This is the real fucking deal. I mean holy fuck, we’re pushing forty. She’s twenty-five, sexy, sophisticated, sweet, and in serious need of protection, and it’s a lot to process. We screw this up with her and act too possessive immediately, and she’ll panic.”

“Like I give a fuck, Saber. She’s my woman now, and she’ll abide by the rules we set for her.”

“Easier said than done, man. Didn’t you hear her after we took her together? She asked us to not leave her. That dick Jake, the one and only man she had sex with ever—that’s ever, Brick—fucked her over, cheated on her, and hit her. That’s a lot of fears she must have, and she took a chance on us? Us?” Saber said, pointing to his chest.

“We can’t screw this up,” he added.

Brick sat on the couch with his face in his hands. “Fuck! I’m going to fuck this up, I know it.
