How to interpret your results:

• Total up the number of responses for each type of lovemaking. Most people will have a preferred and secondary type. Although, periodically, I come across people who are versatile and spread across all three.

• Discuss with your partner what you have discovered about your ­preferred style and what surprised you.

• Concentrate on the similarities between you and your partner. Where do you match? Is there an overlap between first and second preferences?

• Compare your current couple lovemaking style with your preferences. What ingredients could you include, from time to time, to enhance and deepen your sexual repertoire?

• What’s stopping you from enjoying your preferred type? Don’t just blame your partner but look at your upbringings and the messages you were given about sex. What would help you shed these restrictions and embrace your true sexuality?
