Getting dressed, Jonah recalled that there were supposed to be precautions, but evidently Mycroft did not care about that. Jonah had not been in a fit state to think of it. Looking back at the stained bed, he knew that a condom should not be the main thing for him to regret. The word sin beat against his brain with a frightening loudness. But he was slowly putting on clothes. He was lingering, hoping to see Mycroft come out of the shower.

Chapter 18

Quinn expected to have to restrain Dave as he rushed over to confront the preacher, maybe pull him off the guy. Instead, Dave wanted to see the preacher man's father.

"Wait. You want to out him?" Quinn asked once he knew where they were headed. "Because the second you say your teacher's name with his son's..." Quinn brought two index fingers together.

"I am not going to ask about his son."

Quinn noticed that Dave was putting on a buttoned down shirt with a small, blue checked design and beige pants.

"That your Sunday best?" Quinn asked. Actually, he recognized Dave's job interview outfit. He then watched as Dave rummaged through Quinn's bag.

"Hey! If you're looking for a tie, I don't have one," Quinn told him.

"You only got t-shirts," Dave complained as he messed up Quinn's backpack.

"What would I be dressing up for?"

"Wear this," Dave ordered and threw a striped blue and gray polo shirt at Quinn. Then he rejected a pair of gray canvas pants for having too many pockets and settled for the jeans Quinn was already wearing.
