“I guess I should be calling you, “Colonel” Walters, then, is that correct?” asked General Harper.

“Probably, sir. Once you get acquainted with us you will find that Galactic military service members operate on a slightly different level of discipline. It’s more informal while still retaining a chain of command. If I have answered all your questions for now, may I please ask a favor?”

“What would that be?” asked the General.

“To be honest, I have not had an Easter dinner for over 60 years. Are you serving one in your Mess Hall today? If so, do you think I could join your men in having dinner. Baked ham and all the fixings; just thinking about it is making my mouth water.”
