I hear the sound of something. What is that?

Loudest ring I've ever heard. Like it's coming from inside my own head.

What the fuck?

I open one eye.

Ow! The sun blasts me through my bedroom window.

Oh no not again. I swore I would never do this again.

My new sheets on my as-yet-unshared new bed are aglow with radiant brilliance.

I, however, am not.

Oh, right. Now I remember.

I came home from Damien's and poured a glass or two. Or six. Big glasses. Big giant fucking huge glasses.

Of Grey Goose.

Fuck me.

I move to my side. My head pounds. I swear I hear something sloshing around up there.

I hear the ringing again.

What the fuck is that?

My phone! Shit.

I reach over and try to grab it but I keep missing it. Then it stops ringing.

Oh well. Didn't want to talk to anyone anyway.

Instead I try to get up.

Ow!

My head feels like a family of elves are up inside it hitting things with hammers.

Oh God, I'm never drinking again.

But why? My life is worth shit. Why not drink myself into oblivion?

I sit up.

The room spins a little.

Then a lot.

Uh-oh.

I race to my brand new bathroom, making it just in time. The porcelain god is officially christened with the Ramen noodle dinner I ate last night.

I throw up three times in all, ending up asleep on the cold tile floor.
