CHAPTER 11

Trent Falco was one lucky son of a bitch. And if he played his cards right, he might just end up pulling a miraculous save out of his ass.

Number six on his list, though, undoubtedly the most important one because… He hadn’t been lying. He didn’t deserve the way Fiona had pulsed around him. Chanting his name as she’d nipped at his neck.

He’d been too caught up in the feel of her skin against his. How her body molded to him, every inch of them touching. And when she’d climaxed… God, all that wet warm release coating his dick had pulled him under. Or maybe he’d exploded. Either way, it had purged every thought from his brain but how desperate he felt. How holding out for even a couple of minutes had seemed like an epic battle. One he’d barely managed.

And then, when he’d thought she’d kick his ass for not stopping — checking to see if she was okay with him loving her bareback — the way he’d been dreaming. A first, because he never went without protection. Never wanted to risk the consequences. She’d surprised the hell out of him, suggesting she wasn’t scared of the risks.

But what surprised him even more was that he wasn’t scared, either. In fact, just thinking about her pregnant did something to his brain. Had him picturing the next fifty years with her by his side. A handful of kids driving them both crazy. There would be dogs and cats, and he’d had to pinch himself to remember it was all in his head.

Troy had been right. Fiona Kingsley was definitely the best thing to ever happen to him. Sure, it was fast. Crazy fast to the point Trent was sure everyone would think he’d lost his mind, but… If he could get his head around the fact he shared a connection with his brothers he couldn’t quite explain, all that woo-woo crap he’d teased Heath about that first night, surely Trent could believe in fate.

Not that he cared what anyone else thought. As long as Fiona felt the same, and based on how she was looking up at him right now — eyes wide, that perfect mouth just begging to be kissed — she was right there with him.

Which meant, easing up. Grabbing one of the water bottles and his briefs to clean them both off. It meant he’d have to go commando tomorrow, but it was worth it to have her comfortable. Especially when he planned on making this next round last. One worthy of the faith she’d blindly given him.

Fiona giggled when he brushed the wet cloth across her groin, that laughter turning into a moan when he dipped down — took that perfect mouth of hers in his. The start of his seduction if he could get his damn dick to play along. Because it was already hard. Desperate to be inside her, again. Pounding her into the bed.

But he would not make the same mistake twice. Give her a reason to really shoot him in the ass.
