Sounds are underestimated and ignored by many so be alert to these and you will have an edge. The volume of your sound will affect how well you hear so if possible, play with a high volume but the best solution is to wear headphones or even better, a gaming headset. Headsets give you the feel of surround sound and a good set will give you precise indication of the location of sounds.
