We’ve been sitting in the parking lot of the jail for 4 hours when I smack Ash on the shoulder, as I see Khan appear from behind the door. “Oh, I have the perfect song.” I mumble as I crank the car up, flip through the songs until I pull up Jailbreak by AWOLNATION, flipping the volume all the way up as Ash jumps out of the passenger seat “KHAN!” He shouts to him as I stand up on the running boards on the driver’s side throwing my hands out.

“KHAN!” I shout to him as well.

I throw my arms up in the air and start to pump them in an upward, dancing motion along with the music. As the fence opens and he slips through, I watch as he laughs when he takes in the scene. He’s still approaching the SUV as Ash hops in the back seat and Khan twirls his finger in the air, telling us let’s get the fuck out of here.

“Let’s go. Before whoever is trying to frame me catches wind and shows up.” I glance back to Ash and he nods his head.

“Yeah Fury, get in the fucking car.” Ace snaps at me. “I was woken up too early and have seen too much of you today to deal with this shit.”

“What?” Khan asks.

“I was woken up at 6 this morning by someone banging on my door.”

“He wasn’t wearing pants when he opened it, was he?” Khan shakes his head. As I pull out of the parking lot. I smirk over to him. “Fuck, I’ve made that same mistake.”

“We already figured out who framed you.” He tells Khan.

“Oh, really?” He looks impressed as he glances at each one of us.

“Yeah,” Ash pauses as he looks to me, “and you’re not going to like it.” He nods his head again.

“I’m sure, I wouldn’t like anyone who tried to frame me for murdering my ex-wife.” Then he pauses as he looks to me, “How’s Billie?”

“She’s… okay,” I mutter, and he cuts his eyes to me as he looks back at everyone in the truck, but only Ash and I know what’s going on. I glance in the mirror back at Ash who looks just as wide-eyed at me. “She’s being expected with everything going on.”

“Yeah, except she threw a pillow at my head really hard this morning because I wouldn’t let her come with us.” Ash mumbles which cause Khan to laugh. “She punched me the other day, too.” He laughs a little more before I join in with him.

“We had them come to stay up at the clubhouse. Just to make sure they were okay. We weren’t sure if it was an attack on you or the club.” I shrug. He nods his head.

“I would have done the same thing. Who was it?” He looks back to Ash.

“Enoch.”

“What?” Khan looks back at him.

“Yeah,” I mumble over to him, “his entourage paid the Henchies to break into your house for the DNA. We have the video of that.
