Chapter Nine

Brett and I had spent the weekend together exploring each other’s bodies. We’d talked and kissed and fooled around. It had been incredible and more sexually satisfying than anything I’d ever done. Nothing was better than waking up next to Brett in the morning.

While he was showering, I thought about how much I liked having him around as much as possible. I went to a drawer and pulled out a key.

I ignored the mindless chatter of the staff chatting about the matter and the direct questions from others. By the time I got to my unit my temper was boiling just under the surface.

Ox was there with Officer Reynaldo Montanez, a major blowhard.

“I can’t fucking believe it,” Montanez said. “Kash is a fucking faggot.”

“I can’t stand queers,” Ox replied.
