Heart Sachets

Lavender-filled sachets are fabulous for keeping drawers sweet-smelling, or you can place them on a radiator to infuse a whole room. These are perfect gifts for moms on Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day.

MEASUREMENTS

One size, approx 7in (18cm) at widest point and 6½in (16.5cm) long.

YARN

1 x 1¾oz (50g) ball—approx 120yds (112m)—of Artesano Soft Merino Superwash DK, 100% merino superwash, in shade 2083, fuchsia

ALTERNATIVE YARNS

Any DK or light worsted weight yarn will do to achieve the same size heart, although you could use any weight of yarn and the sachet will simply come out a different size.

GAUGE (TENSION)

Exact gauge isn’t essential for this project but make sure that you crochet tightly so that the lavender does not come out of the heart.

NOTIONS

*Size E/4 (3.5mm) crochet hook

*Darning needle

*Toy stuffing or pvc beanbag beans infused with lavender oils or lavender pot pourri

*Two pieces of fabric approx 7 x 7in (18 x18cm)

PATTERN NOTES
