The third approach is varying the placement of the left elbow on the knee or inside the knee. Moving the elbow forward lowers the muzzle and moving it back raises it.

The natural point of aim can be adjusted right or left by moving the entire body right or left in relation to the target.

Offhand/Standing: Most fights occur at relatively close range. A civilian target at 100 yards probably won’t be a threat. Quick snap shooting is practiced at these ranges and less. On the other hand, military and NRA match courses, the standing position is shot at 200 yards and in a slow fire cadence.
