Make the toothpick test and see if they are done.

Next let them cool and transfer them on a rack.

After the muffins are cool mix your powder sugar with the rosewater and two spoons of fresh source water into a thick consistent mixture.

Spread this icing using a brush, a knife or a spoon on top of the muffins.

Sprinkle the muffins with chopped pistachios. If you don't like this icing you can use plain whipped cream and sprinkle the pistachios over the whipped cream.

Serve this delicious marzipan treat fresh out of the oven with a nice serving of whipped cream on the side or without because it tastes like heaven anyways!
