The Rituals followed at the temple

a) Everyday puja begins in the morning with rice, gur, ghee and kapur. During mid-day puja kheer is offered. The evening puja is called Sringar Puja which remains more elaborate.

b) The Purnima (full moon day) and Amavasya (new moon day) are special days for Puja when the doors of the temple remain open till midnight.

c) Animal sacrifice consists mainly of Bakra (he-goat). The main days for bali (sacrifice) are Tuesdays and Saturdays. There is no strict ban for sacrifice on other days.

d) The centre is developing as an important place for marriage and mundane samskara.

e) Congregations during Durga Puja, Kali Puja, and Makar Sankranti are fairly large which transform into big mela (fair). Bathing at the confluence is considered sacred.
