The heat in his belly grew intensely, as it did every year since his first, the first to go into heat at the yearâs last frost. That was when winter ended, when Carver burned, needing a mate, a stallion, anything to soothe the want within him.
âI want you to know I see all the little things you do for me.â Carver wrapped his arms over Hellâs shoulders as he pushed him down onto the bed, those amethyst eyes burning with a want as intense as the burn in his womb.
âI donât do it so you can see them. I do it so that you never have to worry.â Hell dipped down to kiss along Carverâs neck, to his collarbone. Parting from him, Hell moved to close the blinds all the way and drew the curtains. A flick of the switch sent low light spanning across their room, the impersonal space theyâd occupied for only a little while, still not theirs fully. Hell grinned at him, not yet lavishing Carver with affection and lust, standing thereâ¦waiting? Carver glanced around, his vision blurry, but above the bed in the room hung a rather muted and tasteful chandelier, and from every point on it hung a bit of fishing line on one of Hellâs many, many crystals. Carver gasped and marveled at it. Heâd been amused by it in Hellâs trailer, but here above them, it sparkled in a way that pleased Carverâs baser instincts.
âI think youâve got a little of dragon in you, babe. This is quite the hoard.â Carver sighed with open wonder and surveyed the rest of the room, taking in all the little touches Hell had prepared for him. Carver was good to keep a bottle of water on the nightstand and a toy on hand for the night, but Hell had it all set up for him; snacks, washable blankets, a big bottle of lube on the nightstand that eased Carverâs fears of running raw.
âThey were fine to sit in the windowsill, but it soothes me. I thought about trailing rose petals about and stuff, but it seemed cheesy.â Hell chuckled and slid onto the bed with Carver, trailing his hands up and down Carverâs skin. âYou kept telling me to add personal touches.â
âI did. And I love that youâre part of my life, now. Also, your blessing has brought me closer to what I am.â Carver relished wandering fingers and the damp strands of hair trailing his chest as kisses migrated south.
âAnd you have lifted my spirits in ways that I never thought possible.â Hell obliged Carver with broad strokes of his tongue. His cock twitched and drooled with each lap, but he did not linger. He moved, paying marked attention to his groin, nuzzling the soft hair there, breathing deeply, a shuddering, intense rush of air that held a savage need at bay.
Hell had been a gentle lover, but when his hands locked behind Carverâs knees, he exerted force. âCarverâ¦Iâm going to taste you. Iâm going to lick you.
