Apart from China, this new deadly virus has surged outside the borders of China and now causing serious concerns worldwide.

Although the number of patients has been stabilized in the central province of Hubei, China where it has been initially originated as claimed by the government, the number of cases elsewhere in the world are continually rising, mostly in South Korea, Italy, Iran, Diamond Cruise Ship boarded in Japan and America.

At the time of writing, more than 3000 cases, officially called COVID-19, have been reported outside of China, where 81,178 cases have been discovered since its first discovery in December 2019. The death toll outside China has also increased, including 1261 in South Korea, 95 in Iran, 172 in Japan, 57 in the United States of America, and 325 in Italy at the time of writing. Graph 1 indicates the total number of cases discovered outside the mainland of China.
