He never did get to try Jason again. The shit

hit the fan the following morning when no one

could find Billy at the party and no one admitted

to taking him home. There was talk of drug-

fucked Billy wandering away from the party to be

attacked or worse, killed. Recriminations were

shouted down phone lines and, in the apartment

upstairs there were ugly scenes between Jason

and Nigel, which we all heard about later. Billy

encouraged it by dropping out of sight for a few

days while Matt and I swore we had no idea where

he was and expressed alarm and concern.

We milked it for what it was worth but at the

end of three days Billy made a ‘miraculous’

reappearance minus his memory of the previous

four days and the world slipped back into its

routine. Except for our neighbors upstairs who

called it a day. I think that was wise on Nigel’s

side. He even shamefacedly apologised to Billy for

his part in the gangbang. Billy pleaded ignorance,

which was the truth. By way of a consolation

prize Billy did find shaky cell phone footage of

Jason banging him on a pay-per-view website

which he still treasures, a little too much to my

liking.

Within a month of the infamous party, Nigel

and Jason were gone. Jason threatened to return

one day to claim Billy’s ass as his own, rather

anti-climactically making it on voicemail rather

than in person, otherwise Billy would have forced

him to make good on his threat there and then.

The upstairs apartment was eventually rented

but we didn’t take much notice as I was at work

all day and Billy’s time was more and more

consumed by Gideon’s restaurant where he was

working some evenings as chef.

It was one such evening when I was

interrupted in my sit-ups by a knock at the door.

I was in shorts, dripping perspiration from the

exercise, when I opened to be confronted by what

around his neck and his only other article of

clothing being a pair of snug South Park briefs

that did nothing to hide his rather substantial

schlong. I’m afraid I stared.

He smiled politely. “Hi, I’m your new neighbor

from the fifth floor. I’m afraid I’ve locked myself

out. Do you mind if I use your phone?”
