1. Boil a large pot of water.

2. Mix flour, suet, salt, mixed spices, ginger, breadcrumbs, cinnamon, molasses, sugar, baking powder, syrup, currants, and sugar in a bowl.

3. Beat egg and milk in another bowl.

4. Pour egg mixture in the bowl of dried Ingredients.

5. Stir thoroughly to form a dough.

6. Dip in a cotton cloth in the boiling water. Squeeze out excess water and place the wet cloth on a surface.

7. Sprinkle little quantity of flour on the wet cloth.

8. Place dough in the center of the wet cloth. Draw the edges of the cloth together to form a ball.

9. Tie with a string or twine.

10. Put the dough in the boiling water. Cook over low heat for 3 hours 30 minutes.

11. When it is done, remove the dumpling from water. Unwrap and place dumplings in an oven to dry off at 150 degrees.

12. Serve and enjoy!!!!
