That business was, in fact, about to receive a helping hand. In amongst the confusion of my friendship and romantic drama, not to mention of course the adventures of my new life as a public nudist, I had all but forgotten something that predated all of those.

Back at the start of the year, when life was less complicated and I wore clothes a lot more, I’d been invited, as had everyone in my family and probably about half the population of the United States that we may have been tangentially related to, to travel to the coast to the large, beachfront home of my Uncle Bob, in order to celebrate the 90th birthday of a very special guest of honour – my grandfather – with a week-long family reunion party. I’d clean forgotten until my mom called me up to inform me my airplane tickets were on their way to me, but once reminded, I couldn’t help but feel relieved. After all the drama, a vacation was just what I needed.
