Clear visibility
In addition to the visibility that the stakeholders have, the entire team also understands the process. They have been instrumental in the resource estimation and the sprint planning, rather than leaving it up to the project manager, as is the case with a traditional project manager.
While the product owner is responsible for the product, all the team members know the why and how for each individual sprint. They’re not being given top-down instructions, but have self-organized to make the most of each team member’s skills and capabilities that are necessary for the user story.
