“Hey, come on, don’t leave me to pig out on my own.” Nathan interjected hastily. “Everyone needs a little down time. Just let’s get this cleared away and we’ll go get settled.” He smiled hopefully at Patrick. “We’ve got a pretty good selection, you’re bound to find something you like. You already said yes, you’re not going to back down now, right?”

Hesitating, Patrick looked between Lane and Nathan, not especially wanting to commit to an hour or so alone with their clients but not wanting to be seen to back down from giving his word either – however inadvertently and ill advised. He looked at Nathan for a long moment and then reluctantly nodded. “Yeah. Okay. A movie sounds good.”
