Ki Fei’s News

Sun Nuan was pouring the Three Gandoma Juice into the cauldron when her left earring lit up, sending a pulse of lightning through her earlobes. It tickled, even though she’d experienced it many times.

Giggling, she tapped the right one to establish the connection. This was a gift from big brother Wei that allowed them to communicate with each other over a long distance, and talking with him always brought a smile to her face. The left one worked as a receiver and the right one as a sender.

“Big brother Wei, where are you?” she asked, excitement slipping into her voice.

“Princess Nuan, it’s Sonja.”

The hope in her heart dried out. Sonja was with big brother Wei, so he should be nearby, and he must have asked her to convey something to Sun Nuan. But why couldn’t big brother Wei talk?

“Miss Sonja, is big brother Wei all right? What’s going on?”

Sonja chuckled softly. “Lord Wei is doing fine, and he’s not with me. Elder Xue Qi asked me to contact you.”

“Master Xue Qi? What happened?” Master had left a couple of days ago, saying she had to go somewhere with big brother Wei.

“Yes, I have Lord Wei’s friend lying here in a cave, and I can’t get out of this place, so I need your help.”

Sun Nuan frowned. “His friend?”

“Sister Fei. She is poisoned but stable. I would have carried her back, but I sense a great danger nearby, and I don’t have enough strength to handle it myself, so Elder Xue Qi asked me to contact you.”

Sun Nuan’s frown deepened. “Did you say sister Fei? As in Ki Fei?”

“Yes.”

A jolt of happiness struck her. Big brother Wei had been worried about sister Fei for so long, but Sun Nuan had failed to find her, but now she had the news about sister Fei.

But what trouble could stop Sonja from acting? She was the queen of poison. Even Sun Nuan didn’t have the confidence to fight with her without powering up to her ultimate form.

Master had explained everything about this trial and guided him here. Master’s knowledge was superior, and he even knew things from the distant past.
