"Goodnight, Amber," said Luna. "I’ll stay here on the windowsill. Then I'll just look up and think of my sisters and Lightsoff."

Amber understood completely. ” Goodnight, Luna, until tomorrow."

"Goodnight, Amber," said Luna and looked up.

The next morning at five o’clock Amber was already awake. She was always up early if something exciting was about to happen. But this time it was very early. What else could be more exciting than a talking stone. She got out of bed and walked to the window.

"Good morning, Luna, did you have a nice rest? Because this must have the first time that you haven’t been in your own bed "

"I was fine here on the windowsill, " said Luna. "I just haven’t slept. I hope your mother a solution to our problem. "

"You know what we’ll do?" Amber said. "We're going downstairs. I have breakfast and when my mother comes down, I will ask if she has found a solution. Do you need anything to eat, Luna?"

"No, thank you," said Luna. "We moonstones don’t eat. We live of the power of the moon."

Amber understood. It would be a strange sight, a moonstone eating a sandwich. Amber grabbed Luna and together they went downstairs. It was quiet downstairs. They were the first down. Her mother was still asleep and her father was on night duty. Amber wondered if her mother had told the whole story to her father. Her father was of the 'first-see-than-believe' kind of person.

In the kitchen Amber made a peanut butter sandwich and sat down on the couch with Luna. She was just about to take the first bite of her sandwich when she heard her mother on the stairs. She ‘s early, Amber thought.

Still sleepy mother Vanessa came into the living room.

"Good morning Amber, good morning Luna."

"Good morning," Amber and Luna cried in choir.

"You're early," said Amber.

"That's right," her mother said. "I haven’t slept most of the night. But I think Ihave the solution."

Amber and Luna looked at each other in surprise.

"That would be great," said Amber.

"Fantastic," said Luna.

"Tell us, tell us," said Amber.

"I plan to go to the principal of your school Amber," said mother Vanessa. "I 'm going to ask him if we can use the main hall. You know, the one where you always staging plays. Iwill tell the principal that I have something important to report. I will also ask him if he wants to invite all the parents of all children at your school. Obviously I won’t tell him what I have to report. That will be a surprise.

When all the parents are there, I will tell them the story of Lightsoff, the little man in the moon.

And I hope that all the parents and children come to believe again. What do you think of this plan? "

Amber and Luna looked at each other and nodded at each other. They both thought it was agood idea.

"Now to convince the principal."

Then mother Vanessa looked at Luna.

"Luna, I also need your help. When Itell my story in school, it is important that you have something to say.
