A stripper over in Lynchburg went missing only to turn up days later in James River by the Heritage Trail,” Nerd says before sliding a file across the table toward me. “You might want to bring Summer in here for a quick chat with all of us. Last night when she finished her shift, she’d seemed really spooked but didn’t want to talk to anyone until she spoke with you. I don’t know what’s going on with her, but after looking into this shit . . . I’d like to make sure what’s bothering her doesn’t involve this.”
