Lecture

A lecture features a product, service, individual, or entity by discussing it, typically with a presentation by a talking head. The presenter talks at or to the viewer, announcing, describing, highlighting, declaring, stating offers, or providing information, either still or in motion in any media. A lecture is also called a presentation, or announcement (think “new” or “improved”). Typically the presenter (a real or fictional character) addresses the audience directly, often looking straight into the lens of the camera. In theater and film there is an imaginary plane between the stage or screen and the viewer, called the fourth wall. A lecture breaks that fourth wall, the barrier between the constructed world of the commercial and the viewers.
