5 Conclusions

In summary, a suspended doped graphene monolayer based terahertz (THz) plasmonics gaseous sensor using Otto prism-coupling attenuated total reflection configuration is presented. We have demonstrated an analog Simulation of this tunable gaseous sensor by using the finite element method. Using COMSOL MULTIPHYSICS to combine Maxwell’s equation and Druse-Lorentz’s dispersion model into a 2D simulations to investigate the performance of the sensor. The numerical results are highly agreed with the dispersion curve of theoretical analysis. This work provides reference value to a THz-Plasmonics gaseous sensor of refractive index develop and design.
