One of the most popular uses for a computer is to play video or listen to music and other types of audio files. Most cameras can capture both still images and video, or you can download videos off the Internet. Likewise, you can download many different types of audio files or record your own audio to play back.

However you get video and audio files onto your computer, you’ll need to be able play them. The two main video and audio playing apps on Windows 10 include the Movies & TV app for playing video and the Groove Music app for playing audio.

The Movies & TV app can play the following video formats: .mpg, .m4v (MPEG-4 format)
