Because of his success, I have a massive trust fund—though I couldn’t access it until after I graduated college—that’ll cover my expenses and my employees pay while the bar is shut down. I used some of it when I bought the bar and had it remodeled the first time fifteen years ago after I graduated college. I know appearance wise the place could use a little updating and the parking lot definitely needs work which I’d already decided to fix but hadn’t contacted a company yet when my ex started showing up. Laws and such change every year but, I’ve always done my best to keep up with them. In fact, everything in my bar is up to code, at least…it had been when Harry was still my inspector. I’d bet my bottom dollar that dimwit is digging up the oldest laws in the book and making shit up just to fuck with me.
