Chicken Wings in Honey Sauce

Ingredients

3 pounds chicken wings,, about 16 wings

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 cups honey

1 cup low sodium soy sauce

½ cup ketchup

¼ cup oil

Sesame seeds, optional

Method

Rinse the chicken and pat dry. Cut off and discard the wing tips. Cut each wing at joint to make two sections. Place the wing parts on broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat 20 minutes, 10 minutes a side or until the chicken is brown. Transfer the chicken to a Crock-Pot Slow Cooker. For sauce, combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, oil and garlic in bowl. Pour over the chicken wings. Cover and cook on Low 4 to 5 hours or on High 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
