• If the leather you are treating is a shoe or boot, begin by scrubbing the footwear well with a stiff-bristled brush to scrape away any caked-on dirt, and use a damp, lint-free cloth to clean the leather.

• Scoop up a dab of coconut oil with the corner of a clean microfiber cloth and rub it firmly and evenly over the surface of the leather. Make sure to apply the oil consistently or the leather may wind up with a blotchy appearance. Allow the leather to air-dry for 1 hour, then buff to a dull shine with a damp, lint-free cloth.

NOTE: The leather will darken a little, so you may want to avoid using this treatment on white or very pale leathers.
