Use Specific Work Situations to Substantiate Your Claims. If you sense the interview drifting into subjectivity, regain the upper hand by citing concrete examples from your past experience. Don’t just say you’re organized. Tell how you organized a complex project from beginning to end. Remember, insofar as possible, you want the interviewer basing his or her decision on the facts—your strengths, qualifications, and accomplishments—not some subjective evaluation of “chemistry.”
