Our moods color our personal reality. When weâre gloomy, the world reflects the way we feel. When weâre happy, our world lights up with us.
We create much more than grayness or brightness, though. Reality isnât at all what it appears to be when we look around us. As bizarre as it sounds, the world around you has no color at all until you add it; neither does your skin, hair, or nails. You create color in its entirety.
If you take a walk in a park and fix your attention on a patch of grass, assuming youâre not color blind youâll note that itâs green. But in that moment, youâre creating greenness that doesnât exist in itself. And human skin isnât actually black, brown, red, yellow, or white: our eyes create the color.
