That night after talking for what seemed like hours, Bradley and David called it a night. David feeling like someone had lifted a very large weight off his shoulders fell asleep right away. But Bradley walked the floor for a while thinking about all that he had learned that night about the man he was supposed to help protect. However, the one thing that kept crossing his mind is why someone would want to hurt someone over not having sex with them anymore.

Bradley was sure that there had to be more to the Sicko than David was letting on, and he was going to find out why.

The next morning Bradley awoke to find himself alone, David had once again disappeared into thin air. Although Bradley knew that he hadn’t gone far, he still didn’t like the fact that the only man accused of murdering his lover and several others was out wandering the streets alone. The thing that really bothered Bradley had more to do with the fact that he himself had started to fall in love with David against his better judgment. Although finding yourself falling in love with someone as sexy as David wasn’t hard to do, and the fact that the young man had been one of the best lovers Bradley had ever had was the tip of the iceberg. Bradley was very much aware that you should never take your work to bed, but in this case, that seemed to be the only way to get a straight answer out of anyone.

The hours passed quickly, and still, there was no word from David. But Bradley found himself getting more upset than angry. Although he knew that David was just a little wild, he also knew that someone out there could want to see him dead. Besides that, he had truly started to care about David, so he knew that he had to find him alone because if word got out that he was missing that would mean a one-way ticket back inside with no way out. But just when Bradley was about to start his search for the missing David, he walked in the front door of Bradley’s home with a smile on his lips that Bradley really wanted to knock off, but he held it together until he could find out where David had disappeared to. However, David could tell right away that Bradley was anything but happy about his little disappearing act, so he started explaining why he had left without a word.

“I was out looking for Cole”, David said with a slightly shaky voice. “But I’m sorry to say that someone got to him first”, David said. “They found his body this morning in the James River; someone had stabbed him in the back of his head, piercing the brain”. “What do you mean someone stabbed him in the head?” Bradley asked, with a shocked look on his face. “Just what I said”, David replied. “The police aren’t saying much about how long
