Having a family member with Alzheimer’s can be very stressful and hard. Families need to stick together and support each other. Remember that this is probably a very hard time for your parents, too.

Often, when the person with Alzheimer’s reaches certain stages of the disease, family members step in and care for them. This can be very hard on the family. You might want to help. Ask your parents, but remember that if you can’t help your grandparent directly, you can still help your parents at home.
