Lizzy watched Camata’s boat circle to the port side and drift away about a hundred yards. She looked out at the boat Rick had been in. It might be worth taking the chance.

She slipped down the swimming platform and swam to the boat. She climbed on board. The deck was covered in blood.

She started to work on the radio. It was on slides with a button to release it. She pushed the button and then wiggled the radio loose.

Checking her position again she saw that Camata was still on the other side of the boat. She looked down at the guns lying on the deck, chose an S&W 380, stuck it in her shorts, and swam back to the boat holding the radio out of the water.
