Broadcasting can be a devastating weapon. Imagine I read your thoughts, discovered your innermost fears and phobias then broadcast them back into your mind. You could be virtually confronted with all the nightmares you’ve ever had, incapacitating your ability to reason or run away. Some vampires use this to immobilize their prey, or out of plain sadistic pleasure. Broadcasting can also be used for pleasant and calming images, but is used never so often as the horrifying images.

Vampires with the basic package, who receive incoming only, have the same range of hearing thoughts. It can’t be directly used as a weapon, but can be extremely useful for locating prey, negotiating business deals, or simply being aware of stronger vampires in your area. Hey it’s not as good as deluxe, but it’s better than nothing I suppose.
