Also of note is the 180-grain AccuBond, in .338 caliber. This will travel at over 3,000 fps (mimicking the .300 Win Mag), and give the .338 shooter a bunch of flexibility to extend the usefulness of his/her rifle. I’ve used the older 180-grain Ballistic Tip with very good results, so I would expect the bonded version to perform much the same, but with better weight retention.

Don’t shy away from Nolser’s 200-grain all-copper E-Tip. What a great long-range bullet that will make!

Swift makes their A-Frame and Scirocco II for the .338s, and they are good stuff. I’ve loaded the 210-grain Scirocco II in a Browning .338 Winchester Magnum that would print them into 3⁄4" groups all day long.

This is a great elk bullet, as the boat-tail and long ogive will help it to retain energy across the wide canyons of the west. I believe it would perform equally well in the .338-’06 and .330 Dakota.
