Chapter 10

Alistair

I’m in my home gym, working out my frustrations. My plans for taking Hailey out tonight had to be cancelled, because Zar called after lunch stating he wanted us to meet at Elite this evening. There are six other nights in the week, why would he want to pick tonight. Of course, when he told me about it, I didn’t voice my objections. When the Boss calls a meeting, you go.

After hanging up with him, I went to Hailey’s office and told her that we would have to reschedule. She noticed my irritation and immediately came to me, wrapping one arm around my waist, then using her free hand to stroke my beard. I loved when she did that, something about it seemed to soothe me. As we were standing there, her cell phone began to ring. She picked it up from her desk and saw it was Nina. While she talked to Nina, I went and sat at her desk. She had up the designs for her practice. I was very impressed at how professional they looked, but even more proud to see the Kourakos name in the title. I looked up as Hailey ended her call.

“So, Nina suggests since you guys will be at the meeting, us ladies get together for a girls night at their house,” she said, smiling.

I stood and went back to where she was standing in front of the desk, resting my butt against it as I pulled her to me. Hailey reached up, then laced her hands behind my neck as I rested my hands on her plush ass.

“Sounds like a lot more fun than I’m going to have.”

She snickered. “I’m sure it won’t be too bad, just make sure you keep your hands to yourself.”

I smirked. “Fighting is not allowed at the meetings.”

“I’m not talking about fighting, I’m talking about you not touching the strippers,” she corrected.

I threw my head back, laughing. “Η καρδιά μου (my heart), I told you, you don’t have anything to worry about. Those days are over. The only woman’s ass I want to see clapping is yours. Matter of fact, I have a few bands upstairs, why don’t we go up there and let me make it rain on you?” I slapped her jean covered ass, then squeezed her cheeks, waggling my eyebrows at her.

Hailey cracked up as she shook her head. “First of all, you don’t have to pay me to clap my ass for you, I’ll do that shit for free. Second, I don’t have time. Not only are we having girls night, but Zar is treating us to a day at the spa. Nina and GeeGee should be here in a few to pick me and Devyn up.”

I groaned, getting annoyed all over again. I closed my eyes as Hailey began to massage my beard.

“It’ll be fine, Alistair. I’ll tell you what, how about after we get home tonight, I will give you your very own private dance?”

That perked me up.

“I get to pick the song?” I asked, thinking of the perfect one.
