Chapter Eighteen
~Caleb~
Raze’s idea of a party makes every single dirty magazine picture Kyle and I stole away and lusted over seem like kiddie photos, especially when compared to the way the females are dressed at this party.
Unlike the first gathering a few nights ago, he pulls out all the stops for this one. The main hall of what I have nicknamed the Black Mansion shimmers in a song of gold curtains, tables covered in fruit and mirrored flooring. I kid you not. Black and gold curtains cover the walls on either side of the hallway leading up to the entrance of what I’m assuming must be the main room. The floor consists of a freaky mirrored tile with no reflection. I’m not sure what’s more odd—the creepy crabs with human feet or me walking across a floor with no reflection of anything in the glass. A musky sweet scent fills the air around us, the odor making me dizzier the more I keep inhaling the odor. Visions of succubae girls fill my head. Exotic music accompanied by someone playing bongo drums creates the atmosphere of yet another freaky orgy. About every ten feet or so, a couple is making out inside the folds of the curtains. I work my jaw muscles and my face flames.
I find myself missing Gia more than ever as we walk down the hallway from hormone hell. Leaving her behind the day she and Cori had found a way to my little prison house hurt more than I could ever explain in words.
“Don’t worry, Wood,” Raze leans over and mutters to me, his black eyes blazing as though the irises have caught the reflection of the gold in the curtains hanging on the walls, “You’re going to love it here.”
“Yeah. Uh-huh.” I give him a sarcastic grin this time.
We enter what I assume to be the entertainment area of the palace and walk toward three chairs sitting in a row at the front of a room the size of a lacrosse field. No kidding. Unlike the walls in the hallway leading up to this area, the ones in here are covered in a light golden sheen. The two smaller seats on either side of the largest chair are made of what appears to be solid glass. The back of each chair looks like a huge crystal fan sitting behind a box which makes up the seat. These must be thrones. The largest chair shimmers from golden highlights in the design. The size of this one tells me it was designed for a king... a huge one. I take a seat beside Raze’s knock off chair, one of the two smaller thrones and lean toward him.
“Where’s the star of the party? He forget the way home?” I ask.
“Don’t count on it,” Raze answers, pointing behind me.
I turn and find a harem of eight girls dressed in skimpy black genie outfits slinking through the doorway Raze and I just entered. Their outfits remind me of the one Princess
