Do something small (or large!) to face one of your biggest fears today. Write about what this experience was like for you. What did you do? What happened as a result? Did you learn anything that can help you going forward?

Think about an encounter or conversation you fear having—a job interview, a heart-to-heart with a relative or your significant other—and imagine you are able to read the other person’s mind. Now imagine that some of their thought processes are similar to your own, because they too are human and likely have many of the same fears. Write their inner dialogue, including their worries and concerns about this conversation with you, then note whether it eases your fears to consider that they too might feel scared.
