If you’re using imperial dimensions, you can use these dimensions as a guide:

Length: 3.4 (in)

Width: 3.4 (in)

Height: 3.2 (in)

So you now have a hole sitting on the ground floor slab, and while that may seem a bit weird, go with the flow. It all comes out right in the end!

Using Hide to Your Advantage

After you have a hole sitting on top of your ground floor slab, you need to complete the steps in the preceding section, but with a full Box shape this time around. You then end up with a Box shape and a Box (hole) shape occupying the same space, but the Box shape will be slightly larger. When you shell out the Box shape, with the Box (hole) shape, you will end up with your walls.

Before you do that, though, to make placing the full Box shape easier, you can hide the Box (hole) shape.

To hide the Box (hole) shape:

Select the Box (hole) shape and then click on the little lightbulb icon in the Shape dialog box.

Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+H (or if using a Mac, use the keyboard CMD+H).
